Biographical or historical data
Isaac Wilson Wolfe (1821-1907) was the son of Jonas Wolfe (1790-1857) and Elizabeth McKenzie Wolfe (1796-1845) of Scott County, Virginia. He married Mary Ann Ekin Kerr (1822-1866), daughter of James and Polly Kerr, on 8 April 1846 in Scott County, Virginia. He then married Rachel B. Orr (b. 1831), daughter of Alex Orr and Faith Russell Orr, on 20 March 1868 in Scott County, Virginia. He had eleven children: Thomas M. Wolfe (1847-1856), Mary E. Wolfe (1849-1851), Sarah I. Wolfe (1853-1879), Jonas H. Wolfe (1855-1931), Margaret R. Wolfe (1857-1859), James Vance Wolfe (1859-1913), Louisa C. Wolfe (b. 1861), Nancy A. Wolfe (b. 1865), Amanda J. Wolfe (1869-1879), William A. Wolfe (b. 1871), and Oliver M. Wolfe (1873-1876).
