Biographical or historical data
John Tayloe was born 2 September 1771. He resided at Mount Airy, Richmond County, Virginia and at the Octagon House, Washington, D.C. Tayloe graduated from Christ Church, Cambridge. He served as a State Senator in Virginia. Tayloe married Ann Ogle in October 1792. He died in 1828.
