Biographical or historical data
Samuel Patteson was born on 15 May 1781 in Buckingham County, Virginia, to David Patteson (1758-1846) and Judith Patteson (1761-1844). A resident of Buckingham County, Patteson served in the County militia. He married 10 April 1828 to Eliza H. Revely. Patteson died on 30 September 1832 in Buckingham County.
