Patteson, executor; decree, 13 May 1811, of the Chesterfield County Court ordering the division of the estate among Martin's heirs; plat, 20 June 1811, showing division of the real property of Martin's estate divided between William Martin and James Martin; report to the court stating that the real property of Martin's estate had been divided between William Martin and James Martin and that the personal property had been divided three ways between William Martin, James Martin, and Mary Anderson Martin Bridgewater Lucado; and a list, 26 September-17 November 1813, of men on patrol in Chesterfield County as reported by Captain James Martin of the militia. William Martin lived in Chesterfield County, Virginia, owning property in Manchester. He and his wife Ursley had four children, one of whom died before reaching adulthood. William Martin died between 16 January 1793 when he wrote his will and April 1793 when it was recorded in Chesterfield County.
