Biographical or historical data
William Hale Moss, Sr., was born 3 September 1913 in Glennville, West Virginia. He attended Glennville State Teachers College and the University of Pennsylvania. He was a land title and civil engineer. Moss served in the United States Navy during World War II. Moss was elected to the Virginia House of Delegates and represented Fairfax City, Fairfax County, and Prince William County, Virginia from 1972 to 1973. He was a member of the Veterinary Medical School Study Commission. Moss married Naomi VanderVeer. He died in November 1981 in Alexandria, Virginia.
