Biographical or historical data
Frances Flora Morgan (1836-1931) married Edward Jasper Garrett (1832-1868) 14 September 1854 in Bedford County, Virginia. Garrett, a merchant, enlisted in the 58th Virginia Regiment and served a year before ill-health resulted in his discharge. After his death 11 March 1868, Flora Garrett married James Pleasant McCabe (1838-1912) 15 December 1869. McCabe, also a Civil War veteran, served in the 2nd Virginia Cavalry, losing a leg.
