Biographical or historical data
Frederick McInturff was born 8 May 1809 in Shenandoah County, Virginia, to Daniel McInturff (1786-1859) and Mary Clem McInturff (ca. 1788-1862). McInturff was a farmer and a laborer in Shenandoah County until the 1850s, when he moved to Champaign County, Ohio. He married first Sarah "Sallie" Conner (ca. 1810-1844), and they had a son. He married second Elenor "Ellen" Bryant (1824-1898) 7 July 1844, and they had five children. McInturff died 2 April 1897, and was buried in the Concord Church Cemetery in Champaign County, Ohio.
