C. Driver and Company was a livestock commission merchant business owned and operated by Cornelius Driver. He was born on 9 February 1850, and was the son of John W. Driver and Catherine Myers. He married Rebecca M. Hoover (b. 1855) on 20 November 1873. Her brother John Henry Hoover (1863-1944) was a partner with Driver in the business, along with Frank H. Driver and Ernest M. Hoover. Cornelius Driver died on 8 March 1925.
