Biographical or historical data
Anne Lowry Hill Worrell was born 3 November 1883 in Carroll County, Virginia. She married J. Lawson Worrell (1869-1942) 25 June 1902, and they had at least 2 children. The Worrells moved to Roanoke, Virginia, where Lawson Worrell practiced law. Anne Worrell produced several books for genealogical research and was active in the Colonel William Campbell chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She died in Roanoke 9 May 1978, and was buried in Hillsville North End Cemetery in Carroll County, Virginia.
