Biographical or historical data
James Robertson, Jr. of Amelia County, Virginia married Mary Epes on 2 October 1798. He served in the Virginia House of Delegates from 1807-1809, 1811-1815 and the Virginia Senate from 1815-1823. In 1823 he was appointed the Register of the Land Office.
