Biographical or historical data
Born in 1843, Bradney B. Griffin was commissioned an assistant surgeon with the 1st New York Mounted Rifles on 25 March 1863 and he joined the regiment in Suffolk, Virginia, 8 April 1863. He served with the regiment through the war and was honorably discharged 25 September 1865 at City Point, Virginia. Griffin returned to New York and worked as a physician in King County, New York, until his death in 1872. Griffin was buried in Green-Wood Cemetery, Brooklyn, New York, New York.
