Biographical or historical data
Roger Newkirk Gaunt served as clerk of the House Appropriations Committee in the Virginia House of Delegates in 1978. He drew upon his experience there to write his dissertation THREE PERSPECTIVES ON THE POLITICAL HISTORY OF VIRGINIA'S VETERINARY SCHOOL for the Department of Education of the University of Virginia in 1980. He later worked for the Department of Budget and Planning.
