Biographical or historical data
The Virginia Division of the United Daughters of the Confederacy was organized on 21 October 1895 as the Daughters of the Confederacy in Virginia. On 1 July 1896, it became known as the United Daughters of the Confederacy, Grand Division of Virginia. On 20 May 1903 it became the United Daughters of the Confederacy, Virginia Division.
