Biographical or historical data
Virginia's original, handscribed copy of the Bill of Rights, on loan from the Virginia State Library and Archives, toured the United States as part of a travelling exhibit to celebrate its 200th anniversary. The exhibit, sponsored by the Phillip Morris Companies, Inc., started in Barre, VT, on October 10, 1990 and returned to Richmond, VA, for a grand finale December 11-15, 1991.
