Dodd regarding access to documents in the Virginia State Library
  • Series II: Meetings, Seminars contains minutes and agendas for the Virginia History Federation's annual Spring and Fall meetings and its board meetings. Also contains agendas, flyers, brochures, and registration forms concerning its seminars on aspects of presenting history to the public
  • Series III: Organization Papers contains various drafts and final copies of the Virginia History Federation's constitutions, including votes on the reworking of the organization's constitution in 1975. Biographical or historical data
The Virginia History Federation was formed in 1968 by various historical societies in Virginia in an effort to coordinate and strengthen the efforts of these organizations in their presentation of Virginia history. The organization changed its name to Virginia History and Museums Federation in 1975.
