Biographical or historical data
Wilmer Wilson, Jr. was born on 11 September 1926. He attended West End School and Armstrong High School (1944). He then enlisted in the U.S. Army and served in World War II. Wilson was a field representative for the United States Department of Health, Education, and Welfare, and also was a senior regional program representative for "Senior Aides," a program sponsored by the National Council of Senior Citizens for the U.S. Department of Labor. Wilmer Wilson, Jr. died in Richmond on 13 September 1981 and is buried in Culpeper National Cemetery.
