Papers, 1788-1917, of the Miller family of Winchester, Virginia, consisting of the papers of three members of the Miller family: John A., Godfrey, and William S. Miller. The first portion of the collection consists primarily of school books and exercise books, including German and French materials. The bulk of the collection is correspondence and business records (with S. D. Henkel and Bros.) of William S. Miller, dentist of Winchester, Virginia, and Florida. There is considerable family information in the letters and much on the social life of the period. There are also newspapers and clippings, as well as LIFE magazines
