Summary
The first volume of minutes covers the period from 2 October 1847 to [8] October 1898. The second volume ranges from 25 March 1911 to 22 September 1923. It also includes a short history of the church, naming moderators and clerks. The minutes are not well organized. Names of new members and some obituaries can be found. The second pagination, pages 1-174, is a lengthy roll of members. Arranged alphabetically, birth dates as early as 1811 and family relationships are supplied

Copper Creek Church was organized in the area of Lee County which became Scott County when that county was formed in 1814. By 1877, the church was called "The Regular Primitive Baptist Church of Christ at Copper Creek."
