General John Cropper, Jr. (1755-1821) was a prominent resident of Accomack County, Virginia. He was a member and commander of the militia and fought in the Revolutionary War. He was a member of the Virginia House and Senate, owned plantations, a tidal mill and a store, and was involved in other busines ventures.
