Biographical or historical data
The Lutheran congregation that evolved into St. Peter's Lutheran Church was believed to have been organized around 1755, and was originally known as St. Michael's. In 1809, it became known as Price's Church, and then as St. Peter's Church. In 1902, a new church was built and given the name New St. Peter's.
