Biographical or historical data
The title page of Minute book, 1773-1802, reads "Record of the Goshen Baptist Church at Gerrard's Fort on Whitely Creek, Green[e] Co., Pa." Goshen Church was one of four churches dismissed in 1775 from the Ketocton Association to join the Red Stone Association in Pennsylvania. Red Stone District was partly in Pennsylvania and partly in Virginia. Goshen Church was later known as the John Corbley Memorial Baptist Church.
