Biographical or historical data
Constituted at Potomac on 26 March 1771 by former members of the Baptist church which met at Chappawamsic in Stafford County. The church was called Potomac until 1785. Eventually, it became known as the Old School Baptist Church at Hartwood. Sometime in the 1860's it became extinct.
