- Letters, 1855-1864, written to the firm of Dickinson, Hill & Co., slave dealers and auctioneers, in Richmond, Virginia. There are four letters in this accession. They concern the value and sale of slaves and the collection of monies due to consignors. There is also a letter written by R. H. Dickinson to his business partners while he was in Columbus, Georgia concerning the slave market in that state
