- Memorandum book containing notes that Washington made between June and November 1757, mostly about letters he intended to write and orders he intended to issue. Also included are lists of drafts from Prince William, King George, Stafford, Culpeper, and Fairfax Counties, Virginia, a list of dates of commissions given out, brands and marks of his wagon horses, a memorandum of sundry things to be done in Williamsburg, and a roll of artificers employed on the works at Winchester under the command of Capt. William Peachy
