Rupp (1863-1930) of Shenandoah County, Virginia, consisting of a folder containing clippings, letters (correspondence), envelopes, a ledger, and summons, and other material related to Charles Ernest Rupp (1863-1930) of New Market, Shenandoah County, Virginia; E.R. Neff, constable in New Market; Mary Orebough; Mary Rupp (1837-1900); William F. Rupp (1834-1908); and Elizabeth H. Spitzer (1812-1881). Also a ledger (postal clerk's ledger?) dated October 1928 to August 1931 containing the names and addresses of various individuals in Alexandria, Brunswick, Lancaster, Norfolk, Pittsylvania, Roanoke, Tazewell, Warwick Counties; Norfolk, Virginia; and Arkansas, Connecticutt, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Maryland, Massachusetts, Mississippi, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Washington, D.C., West Virginia; and Canada and Denmark. The other folder comprises nine Anti-German propaganda pamphlets sent to Charles E. Rupp from overseas during 1915-1916

- Born on 5 April 1863, Charles Ernest Rupp of New Market, Shenandoah County, Virginia was the son of William F. and Mary Spitzer Rupp. He died 17 December 1930 and was buried at Emmanuel Episcopal Church Cemetery in Woodstock, Shenandoah County, Virginia.
