- Papers of Peter Mason of Hanover County, Virginia, including a will, dated 13 July 1765, and inventory, dated 6 November 1766. The will disposes of real and personal property. Among the items recorded and valued in the estate inventory were animals, furniture, tools, and slaves
- Also includes abstracted information on a suit filed by Edmund Mason in Fayette Circuit Court, Lexington, Kentucky, on 14 May 1804. In the suit Edmund Mason charged his brother-in-law, Edmund Singleton, with the mishandling of his inheritance from his father, Peter Mason. The information from the suit was compiled in 1959
