- Richard G. Morris was born circa 1795. He resided at various times in Amherst and Buckingham Counties, and Lynchburg and Richmond, Virginia. Morris married Mrs. Elizabeth R. (Yancey) Williams (1794-1877) on 7 September 1825. He died in Richmond on 13 May 1867 and is buried in Hollywood Cemetery.
