Machen (1790-1863), and Ellanor Campbell Lawrence (1882-1969). Includes copies and transcriptions of inventories and sale bills. Each section contains footnotes. There are also separate sections on slavery at Walney, agricultural practices, layout of the plantation, and the mill located on the property
