- Plat, 5 June 1712, of a survey of 102 acres in James City County, Virginia, owned by Phillip Ludwell (1672/3-1726/7) and 235 adjoining acres owned by William Drummond (d. 1723). Ludwell commissioned the survey. The plat was made by Simon Jeffreys, surveyor of James City County

- Philip Ludwell was born 4 February 1672/3 in Gloucester County, Virginia, to Philip Ludwell (1640-1723) and Lucy Higginson Ludwell. He served on the Governor's Council and as auditor-general. Ludwell married Hannah Harrison (1678-1731) and they had at least three children. Ludwell died at "Green Spring" in James City County, Virginia, 11 January 1726/7 and was buried in the Jamestown Church yard.
