- Archibald N. Douglas (ca. 1812-1892) and Charles Douglas (ca. 1798-1872) were the sons of Gen. Hugh Douglas (ca. 1759-1815) and Catherine Nasmythe (d. 1812) of Loudoun County, Virginia. Archibald married Elizabeth F. Ross in Albemarle County on 27 January 1847. He died in Albemarle on 15 November 1892. Charles died in Loudoun County on 23 March 1872.
