The correspondent writes that the state wished to reserve the remainder of arms in the Armory for the militia in case of an emergency. The correspondent also writes that the governor believed that the Confederate States might repair those arms in the Armory for the use of the state. Lastly, the correspondent writes that the carriages & caissons should be completed and that the Colonel of Ordnance and Public Guard be removed
