- Biographical or historical data
- John Churchill was born at "Bushy Park," Middlesex County, Virginia on 1 December 1728. He was the second son of Armistead Churchill (1704-1763) and Hannah Harrison (1706-1774). He was a justice of the peace in Prince William County in 1753 and 1755. The inventory of his estate was recorded in Fauquier County, Virginia on 25 July 1796.
